The Story
Behind the Movie

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalms 139:13-14)

Life is precious. It is a gift. And every person, whether in a mother's womb or in a mother's arms, is precious and special, made in the very image of God.

The story begins in a garden where the One who made everything we see, made the very first person, a man He named Adam. In a sense, Adam was the first of God's children. He was called "very good" by God and was made in God's own image. And every person after Adam is also made in the image of God.

God then made the mother of all mankind and named her Eve. She was given to Adam to be his wife. Soon afterward, something went very wrong which has caused heartache and devastation throughout all of human history. This devastation continues even today. In the garden, Eve was deceived by Satan. He convinced her that what she thought was best was more important than what God said was best. And so, she made a choice to listen to her own thoughts instead of God's commands and in doing so, she disobeyed God and did the very thing God had said not to do. And Adam joined his wife in doing the same thing. Then, when it was too late, their eyes were opened and they realized what they had done. What they did not realize, however, is just how far reaching the resulting consequences of their choice would go.

Their disobedience is called sin. And at the end of sin is death. Why? Because God is just. It is part of who He is. But sin also brings with it a whole host of bad things: violence, murder, strife, hatred, jealousy, and more. When we look around in our world, we can see the effects of sin everywhere. I can't begin to imagine just how much God hurt to see his children making choices that brought so much harm to themselves. And yet, even in the midst of his pain, God had a plan for redemption - a redemption He was going to reveal and offer to all mankind. Since we all commit sin by disobeying God's Word, we all deserve death. And God, because of His justice, must punish us for our sin, the result being death. The only way to redeem mankind was for God to send His only begotten Son, Jesus, born into this world as a man, without sin, to take our punishment for our sin by dying in our place. Why would God give up his one and only Son, Jesus, for all of us who rightly deserve death? Because God loves us so very deeply and He doesn't want any one of us to perish to an eternal death. You see, Jesus died to give us life eternal.

God is all about giving life. And every baby that is conceived, has the life of God in them just as much as you and I do. Babies don't get to choose how they will enter this world. And regardless of how they were conceived, they are all made in the image of the God who loves them and are precious to Him just as you and I are precious to Him.

If you are a woman thinking about aborting your unborn child, please consider just how this one choice will change the world forever. Regardless of how this baby was conceived, this precious child belongs to you as a gift, and you are its precious mother. Please, choose life for your unborn child.
